Answers for move day

Commercial Moving FAQs.

When should pricing for commercial moving be updated?

At the final commercial moving review, commercial work is quoted by scope after both locations, building requirements, inventory, and timing have been reviewed. The crew should not have to guess about it at the door.

How can labels support destination placement for commercial moving?

Before commercial moving, use the destination floor plan to label departments, rooms, and priority equipment so the unload supports the reopening sequence. A short note now is easier than a decision beside a loaded truck.

What can complicate property access for commercial moving?

For this commercial moving request, confirm loading docks, freight elevators, building hours, management requirements, and the person who can grant access. The final estimate should answer the question, not leave it implied.

What should I resolve before approving the commercial moving scope?

For a written commercial moving plan, the proposed scope should spell out Department and asset labeling, Building access coordination, and Phased loading schedule. Review the list before treating the date as reserved. That keeps the plan tied to the job the crew will actually find.

Why should I put changes to the commercial moving plan in writing?

On a commercial moving job, send revisions to the asset list, building window, department order, or destination floor plan before the sequence is locked. Clear ownership prevents a handoff from being missed.

What should be ready before crew preparation for commercial moving?

While commercial moving is being planned, the working sequence is Survey both locations, Sequence teams and assets, and Move, place, and reconcile. Adjust that order during the walkthrough if the property or inventory calls for it. The crew should not have to guess about it at the door.

Moving experiences with Miller Mover

Our movers, Ben and Blaine, showed up about 15 minutes early and ready to get straight to work. They assessed the effort and then just set to it. They worked steadily and efficiently the whole time. They were polite and pleasant. They moved our furniture and belongings with care. From the booking process to the actual move, this was a great company to work with.

The move went very well. They took care in disassembling and reassembling large furniture, which I thought would take forever to do but they finish the move within a reasonable amount of time. They were courteous and asked where each piece of furniture should go. There was one minor scratch made on a wall during the move and the mover notified me when they did it and the scratch was understandable given the narrow stairway. Overall, I would use them again in the future and would recommend them to others.

Great experience with Miller Mover! Their crew of Jules, Ty, and Nodo moved us from storage to new house. They were professional, courteous, and worked tirelessly from arrival to completion. I highly recommend this company and crew for any moving services required and wish to thank them again for the outstanding service provided to us!!!

We had a great experience, the movers were friendly and professional. They took good care of our belongings, they treated every item like it was theirs. It would have been great though, if they had an electronic pay system (machine) on site that would allow paying tips using credit cards, just like restaurants do.

Miller Mover was awesome. Steven and the crew arrived at our door promptly at the start time. I actually think they'd been looking for and securing parking for 20 minutes prior. They got to work straight away and were very professional and courteous, even getting our huge sofa out fairly easily, where the original delivery company had trouble. Would highly recommend!

I used Miller Mover when I moved Downtown over 20 yrs ago. I was very surprised; they got even better. Moving is stressful, however, Paul & Alex were fantastic. They wouldn’t let me do anything. They handled everything very quickly, professionally, great energy, very organized (especially since part of the stuff was going to the Apt & the other to Public Storage) and their teamwork is phenomenal. I would definitely use this Company again and hopefully be able to request Paul & Alex. Nothing was too big or small - I just really appreciate them. Thank you.
